Quick To Listen – Slow to Anger   5 comments

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19

 QUICK to LISTEN

Listen without delay and sensitively in all interactions.

         SLOW to SPEAK

Take your time to speak, Think first.

                SLOWER to ANGER

When we listen thoroughly and reply thoughtfully,

we will quite naturally not be so easily angered.

  3. Hi Garry if we are to walk as Jesus Christ walked we need to have a clear picture of what He was like many see Him by what has been presented according to man’s own understanding, reinforced by Hollywood , Artists etc. Jesus grew up, He did not remain a meek and mild baby, He was a passionate man who showed His feelings, He cried, He got angry and He knew grief and showed it. He fought injustice and rebuked anyone who put His Father down or His guidelines as well as those who considered themselves superior whether they were Religious or Secular. He was not Happy Clappy, He was known as a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, He was not a Hippy, He was employed in His earthly fathers business until He started the work of the Kingdom in obedience to His Heavenly Father. He was not on drugs, He did not have long hair, He was Jewish and unless a sign given by God as it was with Samson, He would have had short hair, He was not good looking he was in Truth hard to look at. He was not Married and he was not a Homosexual, He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, He never sinned and told others they were not to sin. He Loved everybody but hated the evil they did. They killed Him because He claimed to be God and could forgive sins and so they despised Him because He was not what they had thought He would be like, these truths are all confirmed in The Bible as well as Biblical and Secular Historical records

Thanks for letting me share- Christian Love Anne
