What is a Shoulder to Cry on Worth?   2 comments

This is actually a “remake” of an image and quote, I previous;y used together. I just wanted to do something a little differently. Sometimes we are the shoulder, other times we are the ones crying. In either case we are blessed to have loving and caring friends. Please let me know what you think! Graciously, Gary / Rd2recovery

  1. Hi Gary:)
I think this is a very powerful message and image. Your doing wonderful things here and you are helping so many people. May God bless you:)

  2. Hi Garry so True what you say and all of us who are Born again of God’s seed have His Joy and Peace in our heart because we are in Christ Jesus and we remember Jesus was known as a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief and that He expressed His emotions and even wept and He comforted those in despair.

So we do indeed as you shared rejoice in our heart and we also grieve as Jesus did for the lost, the dying, the suffering and those who are being deceived.

Worldly joy is very different to the Joy of The Lord, His Joy is not dependant on outward things it is indeed constant but it is not expressed as some claim in always being Happy clappy.

God does not expect us to give thanks for the pain and physical suffering we are going through or laugh and rejoice in it, or for the abuse we receive from others not meaning because of our Testimony for the Lord in this we can rejoice in our hearts, but those times we suffer because others hurt us according to their own agenda and their evil flesh nature, but we can give thanks in Faith and rejoice that God will work it all out for good.

How sad that some were a mask and hide the pain that they feel when faced with the Storms of Life, our emotions are a gift from God our tears a healing. Yes we can indeed rejoice with those who rejoice in the Lord but we also need to cry with those who weep for whatever the reason. Another reason others hide behind a mask is because they want to remain independent and not depend on others for comfort and uplifting, they do not want to admit they are in need, but we know the Scriptures tell us this is not how we are to be in the Body of Christ. the Laugh and the world Laughs with you cry and you cry alone and sadly for some this is true but Jesus tells us the opposite He tells us to come to Him and He will take our burden and give us rest. Then we Love and have compassion and comfort others.

Romans 12:15-Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

    Christian Love Anne.
